This medium-sized Kent garden, approx. 500 m2, was designed around a large rectangular lawn and existing mature planting. The garden was enhanced with blocks of herbaceous and evergreen hedging plants. Sculptural walls within planting areas were constructed to provide a contemporary backdrop to the plants.
The water-feature was set into a rendered wall and consisted of an upper reservoir of water emptying into steel apertures along the wall that filled up a lower reservoir; each aperture was up-lighted. Sculpture and all the planting was discreetly lit for 24 hour use of the garden.
