Large Ponds
The ponds pictured have all been built using heavy duty butyl liners which are ideal for informal shapes. The main area is excavated to the required shape and a shelf built around the perimeter to anchor the butyl liner down using a concrete footing. Raised Ponds
Raised ponds are generally built above ground level and, predominantly constructed from poured concrete or pre-cast blocks. Walls are built to the required height and finished off with a cladding of some sort ie. tiling, smooth pointed or rendered brick work. Raised ponds are generally easier to keep clean than ground level ponds.
