This medium sized garden had a natural slope from the back of the house throughout the length of the garden. We landscaped a terrace area using English Yorkstone, machine cut on six sides. Wide steps led down to the lawn area using rectangular pieces with light grouting to create a striking and unusual effect. Finally, further steps led to a second terrace where a water feature provided focus and interest. Planting was a mixture of mature evergreens and missed herbaceous plants to provide colour and year-round interest. Hunza lighting was installed using Euro eyelid step lights to create a wash effect across the steps.
