A beautiful large space for a grand house situated in this very smart area of central London. The landscaping and planting closest to the house is more formal in style and incorporates materials such as sawn york stone, clipped box hedging and standard bay trees.

These materials and the planting scheme are carried through the rest of the garden and become more rural in feel towards the end of the space. The sawn stone paving and 'dry-stone wall effect' raised beds are all softened by lush mixed perennial planting interspersed with evergreen specimens. Cleverly the planting is both formal and naturalistic.

A large lawn and play area was an important requirement for this family, as was a secondary entertaining and formal seating area, adjacent to the architect designed glass, wood and stone family pavilion. The garden is successfully screened from the surrounding spaces by way of bespoke, ornamental trellis. A wide selection of Hunza lighting illuminates the garden in the evening and is controlled by the main Lutron system.
