This garden, designed by Michele Hickman, provided the client with a contemporary twist on a Mediterranean theme. An unusually shaped lawn which is fringed with sections of lawn incorporated into the hard landscaping surface, leads the eye to a curved stainless steel planter which is set into the ground and planted with water marginals. The rendered walls provided the perfect backdrop for unusual specimens including banana trees, exotic tree ferns, and Italian cypresses.
