  • Recent Project 11 - APL Awards 11: The Garden Builders - Surrey, Children's play area

    This play area set within a large private garden in Surrey was designed in house by Jack Wac and Neil Dunster of the Garden Builders and the whole scheme was constructed by the Garden Builders. This project became a 'labour of love'!

    The garden was filled with every item that a child could ever want from a play area: soft surfaces, colourful textured floor, slide, trampoline, sand pit, tunnel, swings, climbing frame, monkey bars and tornado spinner! Many of the play features were made as bespoke items in order to suit the scheme!

    Lush architectural planting including large tree ferns, grasses and herbaceous perennials provide instant structure, colour and texture throughout the seasons!

    The garden was given announced as 'Category Winner' within the Special Feature category at the prestigious 2011 APL Awards.
