Send To A Friend A small courtyard garden surrounded on three sides by brick walling, with the existing walls in a state of disrepair. New rendering, which was subsequently painted, lightened the space and the addition of hand-made trellis, painted in the workshop to match the walls, added height without blocking light whilst creating privacy.
Raised beds were built from finely sectioned slate adding beautiful detail and texture to the rises on the beds. The circular theme softened the perpendicular boundaries including a central cobbled area with mixed paving. The final touch was the addition of tree ferns casting delicate shadows to complement the shadows of the trellis work.
