Send To A Friend For this basement garden, a huge amount of excavation was required, (access through the house) to allow light into the property. We excavated1m and dug a retaining wall back a further 1m, at this point we fitted a Jacuzzi and worked curving steps around the Jacuzzi to get to the next level.
On this level rendered, raised walls/integrated stone seats were built around a central organic shaped, synthetic lawn. Large tropical, lush specimen planting was used to give the feel of a larger space. The perimeter walls were re-pointed and painted with a strong off-white to give a uniform back-drop to the strong structures and specimen plants.
