    An architect designed house that was half submerged, meant that this ground level garden was actually an elaborate roof-terrace. A 1m+ thick reinforced raft of concrete and an elaborate drainage system supported the entire garden.

    Free-draining lawn, specific planting and use of bespoke Blanc de Bierge paving had to thought about with regard to helping the drainage and weight issues on this project. Glass and steel were used throughout and well combined with planting and stonework.
