Send To A Friend This secluded sun trapped terrace was transformed from an old non-usable patio into an updated contemporary living space. A large raised wall at the end of the terrace once blocked off views to the garden but has now been replaced by cantilevered glass panels to give a continuous view into the large planting bed and beyond. The old stone terrace was replaced with large Blanc de Bierge pre-cast flagstones with inserts of smaller bands of stone.
A large brick wall to the side of the terrace was once covered with large overgrown shrubs but has now been replaced with fragrant white flowering evergreen climbers that entwine around black handmade slatted panels. The furniture, chosen by the designer, adds an eye-catching funky twist to this now usable garden location.
