Project 8 | Andy Sturgeon | Ealing
This 70 meter long garden was designed by Andy Sturgeon and built by The Garden Builders in two phases – the middle of the garden being completed first, and the area closest to the house constructed on completion of a new extension. In phase 1 we constructed a pond with a stunning raised slate terrace rising from the pond itself, and meandering Raisby golden gravel paths, which are free draining with the appearance of a gravel path, whilst in fact they are semi-fixed. Mixed herbaceous and perennial planting provided colour and interest throughout the year. In phase 2 we constructed a sandstone terrace, and supplied and fitted a hand-made pergola / colonnade.
