This was a contemporary design by Andy Sturgeon to complement a new rear extension to a Lion house, which had glazed folding, sliding doors leading to the garden. It consisted of large, shaped deck area level with the floor in the house, which then extended into a path leading to the back of the garden. Alongside the path, we built a water rill which recycled water from one end of the garden to the other. The garden was filled with large, exotic tree ferns and mixed planting, to create a lush, semi-tropical feel.
