School Play Zone

Designed by Nigel Abbey Design and constructed by The Garden Builders

School Play Zone

Sensory garden specialists Nigel Abbey Design created this vividly-coloured play zone for the Key Stage Two students of William Morris Primary School. Creating a fun, motivating environment for children by stimulating their senses, the garden promotes physical activity and learning outside the classroom. The once featureless macadam surface has been transformed into a bright, rainbow-like space where students can spend time during breaks and also for lessons.

2,000 square meters of artificial grass in the striking hues of blue and yellow along with the green created an energising running track and play surface, complementing the mini tennis court and football pitch. The playground also includes a basketball court and a pavilion laid n eye-catching red.
