Beautiful Garden Design Ideas with Stone Hardscaping elements, like stone, harmonise the outdoors space with the property and provide structure and an integrating medium to the garden design. Patios, paths, steps and retaining walls connect and support, but they also create attractive textures, contrasts, patterns and colours. Natural stone makes excellent pavers because it is versatile, reliable and durable and truly lovely, changing colour at certain times and as it ages, and weathering beautifully. Unlike composite materials such as concrete or brick, which are manufactured, a quarried stone is extracted from the earth, then split, cut or crushed, to produce different sha...

Decking Designs Decking is functional, often corrective (merges areas and levels, conceals), and adds warmth and interest to outdoors spaces. Good decking successfully integrated into the design of the house and landscape increases the value of the property. A well-designed decking area not only creates more living and entertainment space, it can engage eye movement in a pleasing direction or away from problem spots. Lively patterning, with angled boards or contoured edges, can sharpen a contemporary look while elegant tonal and surface contrasts can be achieved by combining hardwood with stone. Moscow Project The Garden Builders were commissioned to produce a magnificent trio of unique sculptural panels for the wall area of a luxury roof terrace located in central Moscow. A striking male head and shoulders motif takes centre stage with two inward looking profiles featured either side. In contrast, a scattering of tiny chamomile flowers adds a charming, delicate detail on the lower edges of all the panels - chamomile being the national flower of Russia. State of the art coloured led lighting positioned above adds to the drama of the sculpture. Dawn Latham of The Garden Builders worked alongside artist Shaun Brosnan whilst liaising with the cli...

In case of CAD or hand drawn plans, the plans must be neat, in scale and easy to read. All elements on the plans should be itemised and labelled. It’s also a good practice to support the main p...
